Kappeeswarar Annathur is a remote and neglected temple. A compound wall and gate give some protection to the temple. An ancient stone inscription has been mounted on a base and kept. The main deity, Ganesha and Muruga are large idols. The temple is east facing with entrance from the south.

Kappeeswarar Annathur is about 7.5 kilometers northwest of the Paalar Bridge after Chengalpet. After the crossing the bridge take the immediate right and refer our map or ask directions to Annathur and reach the temple.
