Varadaraja Perumal Lakshminarayanapuram is a beautiful temple situated atop the banks of the Paalar River. the temple has been renovated recently and very well maintained. Some excellent carved pillars are found here. The Paalar River is east of this west facing temple. A dry temple tank is also behind the temple and the river. This should be a glorious place if the river is flowing, which never happens these days.
