Agasteeswarar Aadanur is a small east facing temple which has been completely rebuilt in recent times. The Vimaanam of the Sanctum Sanctorum is tall. All the shrines have been painted up, though grotesquely in dark yellow, and the single Prakaram is paved nicely. It is in a peaceful location with the temple pond in front at the east. In the main road is a temple for Valampuri Vinayaka, In the nearby street, is a small temple for Adikesava Perumal with Garuda facing him.
