Vinayaka

Swarnapureeswarar Pulipakkam is an ancient temple which has been completely lost. The remnants are lying about in bits and pieces. But fortunately the Lingam has been safeguarded and installed in a makeshift shed. Some of the other idols are kept outside. Hopefully someone would provide the support to rebuild the temple soon. There is a small, but dry, pond nearby which should have belonged to the temple in the ancient days. There are Ponniamman, Mariamman and Draupadi Amman temples around and nearby this temple in the same village.
