Purushothama Perumal Porpandal is a small east facing temple with an entrance gateway from the east. A 15 feet tall stone Dwajasthambam is present with carvings of Garuda, Anjaneya, Discus and Conch. A nice carving of Narasimha and ornamental carvings in the Sanctum Sanctorum walls are seen here.

Purushothama Perumal Porpandal is about 15 kilometers northwest of the GST road from Bukkathurai. From Bukkathurai Junction enter the Uthiramerur Road, proceed for 4.5 kilometers and take a right cross Salavakkam, Kidangarai, Edamachi and reach Porpandal. You can also come from the Thirumukkoodal side.
