Bhoominadar Sevalur is an old temple that has been renovated in recent times. There are many inscriptions here, the details of which is not available to us as of now.
Bhoominadar Sevalur is believed to be a place where Bhoomadevi (goddess of earth) prayed to Lord Shiva to provide her the strength to bear the increasing weight of the Earth. She is believed to have worshiped the lord here at Bhoominadar Sevalur by applying different pastes like sandalwood, turmeric, oil, and herbs to the different faces of the lord. As the name indicates the lord here is worshiped by people who want to buy or settle land disputes.
Bhoominadar Sevalur is about 14 kilometers north east of Ponnamaravathi and about 25 kilometers southwest of Pudukottai.
None locally. The places of food and stay would be Pudukottai.
