Kasi Viswanathar, Keela Nanjur is an ancient temple that is dilapidated to a very large extent. The temple is said to have been large in the past and has gradually shrunk to total neglect today. We found broken idols kept around outside. There was no worship happening during our visit in 2024.

Kasi Viswanathar, Keela Nanjur is a completely lost ancient temple. The temple is believed to have been in existence during the period of the Thondaman Kings who had their base at Rameswaram. This is said to be one of the many temple constructed during their times.
