Agastheeswarar Karuvalarcheri is a small east facing temple which is considered important for conception. It is also claimed by the priest here to be one of the temples people frequent for the conception to birth of a child along with two other temples – Thirukarigavur and Manakkal. The entrance is through a small gopuram in the east. There is also a small Vishnu temple adjacent.
