Vayu and Garuda are believed to worship Lord Shiva here at Agasapureeswarar Kaduveli every day. It is also said that in olden days before building temples the Vaasthu Pooja would be performed here. Bheema is believed to have worshiped this Lingam and also led the Pandavas to pray here at Agasapureeswarar Kaduveli. Anjaneya is said to have worshiped the Lord here from the sky without setting his feet on the land.
