Kailasanadar Thandangorai is an east facing temple with the entrance gate in the south. Kailasanadar Thandangorai is a very clean and nicely maintained small temple. The Utsava idols (processional deities) of Kailasanadar Thandangorai temple used to be in Thiruchotruthurai as the temple was neglected for a long time. Recently it has been renovated and painted up.
