Agneeswarar Neithalvoyal Temple is a beautiful little east facing temple . The temple environments are lovely, clean, well maintained with flowering plants and paved pathways. The Shiva Lingam is made of a kind of marble and when a lamp is shown behind, the Linga’s translucency is revealed. There is a temple tank behind. The location itself is good with a large lake nearby.

The Lingam’s translucency being revealed when a flame is shown behind could have some connection to the temple’s legend at Agneeswarar Neithalvoyal.
Agneeswarar Neithalvoyal is about 6 kms in the Minjur-Pulicat road. The temple is situated right next to the main road and before the Neithalvoyal lake.
