Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam is a small and beautiful east facing temple with a newly built 3 tiered entrance Rajagopuram in the south. Just outside the entrance is Naagar under a Peepal tree and a small shrine for Anjaneya. Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam is situated beautifully on a slight elevation with a large pond behind unconnected with the temple. Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam has been renovated recently and the temple presents a beautiful picture with a well maintained Prakaram. Nearby is a temple for Kariamanicka Perumal. There is also an entrance from the road in the east. A large snake mound and Chelliamman Temple are in the north of Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam.

Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam is after crossing the Railway Line in Panpakkam and 1.5 kilometers from Kavarapettai. Immediately after Kavarapettai in the Chennai-Kolkatta National Highway take the service lane, go under the bridge and level crossing to reach Pitchaleeswarar Panpakkam, which is visible from the highway.
