Aditheswarar Vaniyambadi is a large west facing temple with a 5 tier Rajagopuram at the eastern entrance and a 3 tiered gopuram on the western entrance. The outer Prakaram is large and spacious. The god and goddess are both west facing which is not very common. The inner Prakara for circumambulation is full of deities. The Kalabhairava idol, though new, is large and looks beautiful. There are excellent carvings on the pillars. The walls of the Prakaram has many stone inscriptions.
