Anganadeeswarar Madavilam is a large east facing temple with a large 5 tiered Rajagopuram at the east entrance. The entire temple is situated in a single Prakaram. Just before the sanctum is the Thirupugazh Mantapam. There is a Vaahana Mantapam in the south west corner. Several old idols are found lying around the sanctums including Vinayaka, Brahma and Dakshinamurthy.
