The entrance from the south leads through a covered structure into the temple. The main deity is a small lingam and so the goddess is a small idol in sitting posture. The Inner Prakaram is completely covered. The courtyard in front on the east side has a beautiful Nandi mandapam and balipeedam. An Aavudayar (the base portion of a Lingam) recovered from a lost temple in the same village, said to be Bhuvaneswarar in the records, is kept here with a Naagar idol on top.
