Temple – Poigainallur Agastheeswarar Temple is an ancient temple completely disappeared today except for the Lingam. When we visitied in 2012 the lingam was in a stone & brick shed. The stones dumped around indicated that some work has been planned.

Directions

Poigainallur is on the right side of the highway after you cross Kancheepuram. Reach Dhamal (you will see the new tall rajagopuram of the siva temple here) and drive a little further to take a U turn to reach Poigainallur which is about 2-3 kms from the highway.
