Thirunelvennai is an ancient temple more than 1300 years old Praised in the Thevaram Hymns of Saint Thirugnanasambandar (7th century CE).

Thirunelvennai is 15 Kilometers northwest of Ulundurpet in the Chennai-Tiruchirapalli Highway. You can either take a right before Ulundurpet or go through the town and reach the temple. See our map below for exact location.
