Thirunaadheeswarar Devanur is a grand old temple but unprotected. Work seems to be happening to shape up this important temple. The huge stone gateway at the eastern entrance lead into a large stone mantapa with nicely carved pillars, followed by the Goddess shrine facing south. There are 4 Nandi’s installed and a few old ones lying about along with several other idols, aavudayars and lingams.

Directions

While going from Tindivanam side take a right at the main junction at Gingee onto the Chetpet road. Go for about 15 kilometers and take a right to reach Thirunaadheeswarar Devanur and drive on to reach the perumal temple at Gengapuram. Refer our map below for exact location as there are other roads to reach the temple also.
