Vaitheeswaran Chintamaninalloor is a Chola era east facing temple with entrance from north. the temple is surrounded by large trees and set amidst beautiful fields. A unique feature here is the presence of 9 Niche deities instead of the usual 5. The additional ones being Oorthuva Thandavar, Siva with Parvati, Kalabhairava and Pitchadanar. Dwarapalakas are at the entrance to the sanctum sanctorum with Ganesha and Muruga on either side. A large snake mound, goddess feet are other features here at Vaitheeswaran Chintamaninalloor. Excellent carvings are seen on the sanctum sanctorum. The idols are also all beautifully carved.

Vaitheeswaran Chintamaninalloor is about 7.5 kilometers after Vikravandi towards Villupuram. Chintamani village will come in the highway where you take a left and reach Vaitheeswaran Chintamaninalloor. It is also called Rajaraja Cholan Temple.
