Vaikuntavasa Perumal Villupuram is a small and busy east-facing temple with a single Prakaram housing all the shrines and the Sanctum Sanctorum. The entrance is through a 5 tiered Rajagopuram in the south. As you enter the sanctum sanctorum from the south a large idol of Lord Varadaraja Perumal is seen in all his splendor. The main deity is large and very beautiful with all the ornaments and crown.  The goddess is also a large idol. Two Anjaneyas are present, one is a rock-cut slab.  There is a peedam with the feet of Lord Rama installed on it in the front Mantapam.

Vaikuntavasa Perumal Villupuram is in the center of Villupuram Town in Perumal Koil Street, Fathima Layout, off the old Trichy Trunk Road. The area is very crowded, the street is narrow and no parking facility is available.
