Apradheeswarar Nagar is an east facing Chola style structure which was undergoing renovation when we visited around 2012. The temple is considered as one of the Pancha Linga Kshetrams.

History

As per stone inscriptions Raja Raja Chola constructed the Apradheeswarar Nagar temple and the architect was Thillai Nayakan.
