Panchanadeeswarar, is an ancient large temple but sadly unprotected. The entrance has a large  5 tiered Rajagopuram which leads inside through a passage. the walls are broken here but fortunately a large entrance gateway is safeguarding the inner Prakaram. The temple is constructed of stone and has a large number of inscriptions all around. The officiating priest mentioned similarity in events to that of the Thiruvaiyaru Temple – needs to be verified.
