Thanthondreeswarar Vallipuram is a west-facing temple with an entrance gateway on the west side. There is a large mandapam in front of the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity with a Balipeedam, Flagstaff, and Nandi in it. The shrines of the Goddess, Muruga, and Vinayaka are east facing. There is a Nandi in front of the goddess shrine. Opposite Thanthondreeswarar Vallipuram temple is a temple for Vedanarayana Perumal with his consorts. A little to the southwest is a temple for Maha Mariamman and on the north side, a temple for Valliamman.
