Panchamukeswarar, Thiruvanaikaval is a small temple. Panchamukeswara is not the main deity here, Rajarajeswara is. Panchamukeswara and Thirupurasundari are seen facing each other in a separate shrine.

Panchamukeswarar, Thiruvanaikaval is located on the northern side of the Thiruvanaikaval Temple just off the North Car Street.

Stay and Food

Parthasarathy Vilas Hotel is just outside the western gopuram of Thiruvanaikaval temple and serves very good food. Try their ‘Super’ a ghee roast Dosa and the Sambhar Vada. Opens at 4 in the morning and again at about 4 in the afternoon till about 8-9 in the night. For stay there are good hotels on the main road, Srirengam and Thiruchirapalli.
