Ekambareswarar Aminjikarai is a beautiful east facing temple with a 5 tiered Rajagopuram on the eastern entrance. The temple also has a back entrance which can be used to access the Perumal Temple behind this temple.

Aminjikarai is in the busy Poonamallee High Road which connects Chennai with Bangalore. Ekambareswarar Aminjikarai is in the center and adjoining the main road. Right behind is a Vishnu temple. Car Parking is a problem in the area.
