The temple has been renovated in recent times and is well maintained. A Mukha Mandapam is in front of the Mahamandapam. This is followed by an Ardha Mandapam and Antralaya before the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord. A little distance before this temple is a small and old temple of Lord Shiva as Chidambareswara situated in a single Prakaram.
