Thirupandripagam is a small east facing temple with a large Sanctum Sanctorum. Though the temple itself is in Kerala style the Sanctum is in Dravidian style. There is a beautiful temple pond outside and in front of this east facing temple.

Thirupandripagam is the sixth temple where Bhima dropped the Rudraksha seed to slow down the creature chasing him when he was on a mission to procure its milk for a Yaga.

Directions

Thirupandripagam is about 5 kilometers north of Padmanabhapuram. At the junction at Muttaikadu take a right at the fork and proceed for a kilometer to reach Thirupandripagam temple. Refer to our map below for exact location.
