Bheemeswarar Paramathi is an east-facing temple situated in a single Prakaram. The entrance is through a small gateway mandapam on the west side. The temple is at a lower level than the adjoining road. The sanctum sanctorum of the main deity and the shrine of the goddess have a common Maha Mandapam in front with an entrance from the east. There is a large and beautiful Nandi in front. The Thirumanimuthar River flows right in front of the small gate on the east side of Bheemeswarar Paramathi temple.
