Shakteeswarar Anangur is a beautiful east-facing temple situated on a small rocky hillock. Vehicles can go near the temple. On top of the entrance in the east is a small 3 tiered Gopuram. After this is a stone Dwajasthambam, Flagstaff, Balipeedam, and Nandi Mandapam. There is a mandapam that is open on the sides in front of the Ardha Mandapam and Sanctum Sanctorum of the main deity. The same mandapam extends before the shrine of the goddess also. The single prakaram that houses all the shrines and sanctum is completely paved and the entire temple is beautifully maintained. The Navagraha are arranged in a circular pattern in a beautiful pedestal and shrine. There is a rock pond with water lilies on the northeast side of Shakteeswarar Anangur temple.
