Sivan Samayasangili Agraharam is a small east-facing temple situated in the middle of a forking junction. The entrance is through a gate on the east side. A single small prakaram houses all the shrines and the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity. A small Mandapam is common to both the main deity and the goddess. Further down the road going on the left side is a Perumal Temple on the banks of the Cauvery. The Cauvery river flows 200 meters away on the south side of Sivan Samayasangili Agraharam temple. At the time of our visit in 2021, the temple was under renovation and some of the idols were immersed in a tank, as is the customary practice, awaiting installation.
