Chidambareswarar Thondi is a small east-facing temple with an entrance gateway on the east side. A single prakaram houses all the shrines and the sanctum. A long Maha Mandapam is common to the sanctum and the south-facing shrine of the goddess. The sanctum sanctorum of the main deity is a small but beautiful structure.
