Panaamudeeswarar Kancheepuram is an ancient east facing temple with a small 2 tiered Gopuram at the entrance which is followed by a open area with a modern function mantapam on one side. The main temple is entered through a small gateway. The entire temple is situated in one spacious Prakaram. The sanctum is entered through a doorway in the south.
