Parasurameswarar Pallur is an ancient west facing temple with a 3 tiered Rajagopuram. The temple is situated in the middle of fields and presents a beautiful picture. New constructions are being added as in 2018. At the entrance to the sanctum sanctorum are Ganesha and Muruga on each side. An ancient dilapidated east facing structure of a sanctum with a shiva lingam outside is seen opposite the temple which could be connected to this.
