Thirubhuvaneswarar S Kolathur is an ancient east facing temple set amidst beautiful fields and a serene location. A large temple tank is seen opposite the temple, but dry. The temple has a single Prakaram where all the deities and shrines are situated. A few idols were found lying inside the walls of the temple. The temple has been renovated recently and has many flowering plants is well attended to.
