Kariyamanicka Perumal Purisai is a large and beautiful temple. The entrance is from the east through a gateway and you face the sanctum sanctorum as you enter. The single Prakaram surrounding the sanctum is large and spacious. The gardens have many flowering plants and a Goshala. A small and beautiful temple tank has been built in the north inside the  temple walls. This is a rainwater harvested temple and the water flows into the temple tank.

History

Kariyamanicka Perumal Purisai was built in the 16th Century CE and discovered in a dilapidated state some years back. The new structures were then built up with the support of philanthropists and the local villagers.
