Srinivasaperumal Agaram is an ancient temple which has been recently renovated. It is beautifully located amidst lush green fields. The temple is west facing with a 3 tiered Rajagopuram. The single Prakaram houses all the other deities. Many processional deities are also seen here. It is an important temple with two Madapalli (Kitchens), one for the lord of this temple and one for Varadaraja Perumal of Kancheepuram who visits this temple, along with others in the area, once in a year in the processional deity form. During this visit a Theppam also takes place in the Thenneri lake.
