The Vimaana is in the form of Gajaprastham (Reclining Elephant). The large Nandi is a beautiful piece. There are 2 Balipeedams here. A single Prakaram encloses the temple with a wall around.

Take the road to Walajabad, cross the bridge across Paalar right after the hill temple of Lakshmi Narasimha at Pazhayaseevaram, cross Thirumukkoodal temple and drive on for 9 kilometers on the road that follows the banks of Cheyyar River to reach Prithigangeswarar Neyyadupakkam. If you are coming from Uthiramerur, take a right at Kadambar Kovil junction and drive on for about 7 kilometers in the Thirumukkoodal road to reach Prithigangeswarar Neyyadupakkam. The temple is visible from the main road itself.
