Rudravaleeswarar Pullambakkam is a small east facing temple with the entrance gate from South. The temple is in a dilapidated condition though attended to and in worship. A single Prakaram houses all the shrines and the Sanctum Sanctorum. Rudravaleeswarar Pullambakkam is situated beautifully on the south bank of Cheyyar River just a little way away from its confluence with Paalar River.

Rudravaleeswarar Pullambakkam is 22 kilometers west of Chingleput. Take the road to Walajabad, cross the bridge across Paalar right after the hill temple of Lakshmi Narasimha at Pazhayaseevaram, cross Thirumukkoodal temple and drive on for 3 kilometers on the road that follows the banks of Cheyyar River to reach Rudravaleeswarar Pullambakkam. If you are coming from Uthiramerur, take a right at Kadambar Kovil junction and drive on for 12 kilometers in the Thirumukkoodal road to reach Rudravaleeswarar Pullambakkam.
