Runahareswarar Kidangarai is a small temple where the Lingam is kept outside awaiting the completion of construction of the Sanctum. All other deities are also kept outside including that of the Goddess. A Vilwam and Neem tree are seen growing side by side representing the Shiva Shakti concept and are adorned and worshiped accordingly. The idols look old and there are a few ancient articles also kept here. The construction of the new sanctum seems to be stalled due to cracks that keep developing, purportedly by underground streams that are believed to be running as told to us by a lady who attends to the temple’s needs.
