Chennakesava Perumal Vellakuttai is a small east facing temple which is entered from the northern side through a entrance arch and gate. The small single prakaram houses all the deities and shrines. There is a small Vinayaka temple to the east of Chennakesava Perumal Vellakuttai. The temple is nicely located near coconut groves.

Chennakesava Perumal Vellakuttai is about 11 Kilometers south east of Vaniyambadi off the road going to Alangayam. At about 6 kilometers take the left going to Vellakuttai. Do not go up to the village, but take a left before and reach Chennakesava Perumal Vellakuttai.
